For months now I've been noticing all of these AMAZING places to take photos in downtown Minneapolis. I finally decided to take my daughter into the "big city" to have some fun! :) We got a lot of great shots... here are a few of my favorites!

My love for photography...

Maybe my love for photography comes from having a terrible memory.  It doesn't matter what it is or when it happened. You could ask me my favorite song as a child or where I put my keys the night before and I wouldn't be able to tell you. BUT, when I look at a photograph I can recall the day it was taken, the people that were there, the smells, tastes, sounds and emotions... every aspect of that moment comes rushing back to me.

Seeing a picture of me and my first baby girl and feeling the same love and emotion of that day... closing my eyes and remembering what it felt like to hold her tiny body against my chest while we rocked back and forth, listening to every quiet little breath she took and then slowly leaning closer to draw in the sweetness of her... a moment, captured in time and relived EVERY time I hold that picture in my hands.

My hope is that I can do this for you... that I can capture one of YOUR life's moments and that one day, you'll hold that photograph in your hands and it will bring back a wonderful memory that will warm your heart and delight your soul.
